For Dr Domenick Coletti , his illustrious professional career as a successful dental surgeon is based on the start to his academic career that he gave to himself. He started to gain his medical expertise in dental sciences when he had graduated in the year of 1990 with a degree in B.S in the subject of Biology from the Long Island University and in the year of 1993 from the Virginia Commonwealth University. He has acquired training in dental sciences from the Medical College of Virginia at the School of Dentistry in the year of 1997 and then he proceeded to acquire his M.D. from the University of Maryland in the year 2000.

Domenick Coletti is also a partner of Central Maryland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery P.A., and also happens to be the former Division Chief and Associate Professor from The University of Maryland department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Dr Coletti is duly trained in the intricate procedures of microvascular free tissue transfer that are done to reconstruct the highly complicated maxillofacial defects that arise from head and neck cancer, and also die to facial trauma. He has responsibly trained many of the students and interns about the very intricacy of head and neck surgery during his tenure as a trainer and professor on many of the well known medical facilities in the country.

Dr Coletti also holds certifications from various prestigious dental associations like Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners, Southeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Advanced Traumatic Life Support. It was in the year of 2005 when Dr. Coletti received the AAOMS Faculty Development and Educator Award, a national award which is given to a professor who has displayed a high standard of excellence in clinical and academic performance. He has also published numerous peer review journal articles that well read all over by dental professionals and book chapters, and he is also an article reviewer.
